Well, we got there we realized everybody else in NY must have had the same thought.

Inside the Museum of Natural History
The kids decided they were okay with heading into Central Park instead and go on with our plans.
We found some great areas for the kids to just run around and play. Glad the rain stopped!

There was a really good sax player that we enjoyed listening to for a while! The kids gave him a dollar
and he gave them a high five and played some fun songs. Then it's us girls freezing out buns off!

We left the park and stopped for a hot dog and to sit. The kids found a cool art fixture to play on.

After our hot dogs we walked through FAO Schwarz. The kids seemed to have had a lot of fun.
I'm glad we don't live too close to one! We then walked down to Times Square and had a real lunch!
Then we walked down to Rockafellar Center to see the large tree!

Chad, Angie and kids, Jonas not cooperating, and still not cooperating.

Pictures in Times Square. Can you tell it was windy and cold?!
I wish I'd had my pedometer on that day. We had to have walked over 10 miles. I'm so proud of
how well the kids did walking most of the way. Dave was wonderful in giving the kids shoulder
rides periodically to help them make it a little further! Jonas also really loved walking among the
sky scrapers! Then when we got home the kids played a little cup bowling until bedtime!
